The coronavirus pandemic has prompted officials to make changes at Rochester's City Clerk's Office.
It will not be able to issue the following documents for the time being:
- Licenses for marriages/ceremonies/domestic partnerships
- Passports
- Commissioner of Deeds
- Any business licenses that require direct contact with city staff
If you can wait a bit, the City Clerk's Office will be able to process the following by mail:
- Handicap parking, alarm permits
- Cornhill parking passes
- Dog licenses, Cobbs Hill dog park licenses
- Copies of marriage certificates
Documentation to apply for these licenses can be submitted by mailing information to the Rochester City Clerk's Office at 30 Church Street, Room 100A, Rochester, NY 14614.
