Full and part-time staff at St. Ann's Community are getting bonuses linked to their efforts to respond to the COVID-19 virus.

"When you have this help from such a wonderful company. I have to say they've done a great job with other things, besides the incentive. They've  taken care of us in other ways," said caregiver Maria Cruz.

"We wanted to make sure we could help eliminate some distractions. We realize some of them have spouses or significant others who no longer have incomes," said Michael McRae, St. Ann's Community president and CEO.

A total of $400,000 will be split up between 875 workers.

St. Ann's Community has campuses in Irondequoit, Webster, and LeRoy and offers a complete range of care that includes independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, transitional care/rehab, hospice/palliative care, and adult day programs.
