The performers are channeling the glitz, the glam, melodies and toe-tapping energy of the award-winning musical.

There is no place like the home stage at the Greece Central Performing Arts Center for senior Gemma Ditullio.

“It is so exciting, especially for my senior year,” Ditullio said. “I am so happy to finally be back. A live audience is why I love theater because of the energy. It makes such an impact on stage. It makes everyone perform better. I just love hearing the cheers and the claps and the laughs.”

From the costumes to the sets, 42nd St. celebrates Broadway and Times Square. It’s Riley Catena’s first-time tap dancing.

“Being with all my friends and being on stage singing and dancing, I am just so glad to be back and this is the perfect show to do it," said Catena.

There are six performances scheduled for Feb. 4-6 and 11-13. Evening shows begin at 7 p.m. Matinees begin at 2 p.m. You can buy advance tickets online or at the door on the day of the show.
