PITTSFORD, N.Y. — The Saint's Place Super Sale is happening in Pittsford through Saturday, and it’s back and better than ever.

Volunteers sorted, priced and set up thousands of community donated items for sale at the St. Louis Church campus in the village of Pittsford. It's the kind of sale you just have to see and shop to believe. This includes sporting goods, designer handbags, tools, dishes, artwork, books, toys, furniture and collectibles. All of it is priced to sell.

It is Saint's Place’s largest fundraiser. They assist refugees with clothing and help set up their homes with the basics, and provide education and job skills training. They also assist people in need in Rochester.

What You Need To Know

  • Saint's Place provides clothing, furniture, school supplies, household goods, tutoring and scholarships to newly arriving refugees in Rochester

  • Proceeds from the super sale event support the effort to help others

  • The sale is located at 64. S. Main St. in Pittsford

“We assisted 1,200 individuals with clothing, new beds and household goods this past year,” said Michele Quinn, Saint’s Place associate director. “We have kept extremely busy and we have not let the virus really impact our ability to help other people. Anybody who comes to support our sale is helping with operating costs so that we can actually do that. Every bit is needed and appreciated.”

The goal is to raise $100,000. For the first time, they have three corporate sponsors for the sale: Caldwell Manufacturing, Canandaigua National Bank and Starbucks.

The super sale continues Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday is the 50% off sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon is the bag sale. Shoppers pay $10 for the first bag and $5 for each additional bag filled to the brim.
