JCPenney announced it is closing three local stores. 

It's part of a plan to shutter 150 outlets across the nation after the company filed for bankruptcy in May.

The store at Finger Lakes Mall in Auburn, Batavia City Centre, and Roseland Shopping Center in Canandaigua will close this summer.
