After days of suspension, service on the Metro-North Railroad will resume.
For days, crews worked to repair damage caused by excess rainfall and flooding as the rail line had to accommodate thousands of travelers between Albany and New York City.
During this time, travelers with reservations were rescheduled and had any transfer fees waived.
The repairs were originally supposed to take just one day, however the damage was so bad that work had to be extended.
Passengers can now travel on the railroad to its full extent.
