A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the 2014 death of a Monticello woman.

Keymarro Guiden, who lives in Pennsylvania, was arrested by state police there Dec. 1 on second degree murder charges following an indictment in Sullivan County. The charges stem from the homicide of April Parker, 31 at the time of her death.

Parker was reported missing in May 2014, and her remains were eventually found behind a Monticello apartment complex. The New York State Police say that Guiden is the father of one of Parker's four children, and had been considered a person of interest in the case.

Guiden was extradited to Sullivan County on Tuesday.
