A school bus has been involved in a crash in the Town of New Windsor.

The New Windsor Police confirmed Wednesday morning that the crash around 8:21 a.m. on Route 207 involved a bus and a commercial tree service truck, and injuries were reported.

Per police, the tree service truck was westbound on 207, crossed over a double yellow line and hit the bus traveling east. Multiple fire and ambulance units responded, and three injured people — both vehicles' drivers and a student sitting behind the bus driver — were extracted.

The drivers are both listed in critical condition, according to police, and the student is in critical but stable condition. None have been identified.

Police added that seven children "walked off the bus and were brought to the hospital to be seen by medical professionals." All seven have been treated and released.

The Washingtonville school district confirmed Wednesday that the bus was a Little Britain Elementary bus.

Police say they're investigating.
