DAYTON, Ohio — An opportunity arrives this weekend in the Dayton area for those seeking a safe way to dispose of unused or expired medications.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost's office and others are hosting an Attorney General's Drug Dropoff Day Saturday, Jan. 25.

Ohioans in the greater Dayton area can take medication to Miami Valley Fire Station No. 52 and drop off prescription drugs that are no longer needed or expired with no questions asked.

Dropoffs will be accepted between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
