Since opening in December, Kingston's HealthAlliance Hospital's cardiac lab has conducted more than 100 lifesaving procedures, according to a hospital spokesperson.
Mount Marion resident Marylen Irizarry-Moyer is one of them.
She said the hospital’s services and closeness to home saved her life when she recently had a heart attack.
