Marist College welcomed back the class of 2020 for an official commencement ceremony Saturday.

The students finished their academic year virutally, and missed out on graduation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Saturday's special guest speaker was Dr. Dennis Murray, the former Marist president and current professor of public policy.

“What COVID threw at your class wasn’t fair, but you proved you were resilient, time and time again,” Murray said in his remarks.

The class of 2022 was recognized last weekend with its own ceremony.
