Newburgh City Police Chief Doug Solomon has been suspended: A source tells us it's because he did not follow an administrative order.

This comes less than a week after an armed man was shot and killed by city police, leading to unrest and people protesting long into the night.

Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler is conducting two investigations: One is a grand jury investigation and the other is being conducted by his office.

Findings from his investigation are expected to be released in three-to-five months.
