Officers have learned the identity of the man who was shot and killed in Kingston on Thursday night. Police say they are looking into what led to the shooting that killed 27-year-old Daniel Thomas.
It happened after 8 pm. in the area of Prospect and Cedar streets. There are no arrests or identified suspects yet in the killing.
Police say they have received very little cooperation from possible witnesses so far, and they are continuing to ask for the public's help.
"Right now, I'd like the public to please help us find the person or persons responsible for this and bring them to justice. We're working hard, with time we're slowly chipping away at it, but we really need the public's help when it comes to crimes like this, " said Thierry Croizer, Kingston Police Department detective lieutenant.
