State Police say a 67-year-old Hudson man is dead after being hit by a dump truck in Columbia County.
Troopers say Stuart Meisner was driving a tractor on Yates Road in Greenport when he tried to cross State Route 9 and was hit by the dump truck.
Investigators say Meisner failed to yield the right of way.
The dump truck driver was taken to the hospital but expected to be alright.
