The Sullivan County Health Department is warning residents of another instance where people may have been exposed to measles.

Patients who were treated or spent time at the Middletown Medical at Thompson Square Mall in Monticello on June 4 might have come in contact with the illness.

This warning comes in addition to a previous warning advising residents of possible exposure at Yeshiva Gedolah Zichron Moshe in South Fallsburg on June 1.

Anyone who may have been exposed is advised to be on the lookout for measles symptoms, which include high fever, cough, runny nose, red watery eyes, and the characteristic rash appearing days after a fever.

Isolation is required for anyone who has been exposed, with no proof of immunity.

Seven cases have been confirmed in Sullivan County so far this year.
