WEATHER HEADLINES:

→ Breeze Eases

→ Quiet and Cool Overnight

→ Lots of Sunshine Thursday

Partly cloudy skies are expected overnight from the North Country to the Southern Tier. Conditions will remain dry, and temperatures will be downright cool, if not on the chilly side, headed into early Thursday morning.

Lows Tonight:

  • Central New York: 46 - 54
  • Northern New York: 40s/50
  • Southern Tier: Near 50

Thursday will feature dry weather along with plenty of sunshine. Humidity levels will be lower, and temperatures will be a bit on the unseasonably cool side, but the day should overall be rather pleasant and refreshing.

Highs Thursday:

  • Central New York: 68 - 73
  • Northern New York: 60s/70s
  • Southern Tier: 70 - 74

Friday will feature intervals of clouds and sunshine as dry weather prevails. Highs will remain unseasonably cool as we finish the work and school week.

Looking ahead to the weekend there will be lots of dry time around, but a couple of spotty showers cannot completely be ruled out. We will get a little taste of fall too, with highs only getting into the 60s to near 70.

Dry weather looks to stick around as we begin next week, but temperatures look to remain below average.

The next big chances for rain look to arrive in the form of showers and thunderstorms next Wednesday.
