After a dreary Wednesday, we can expect much drier weather overnight. Skies will be partly cloudy, which will allow for cooler and more comfortable temperatures versus last night.

Lows Tonight:

  • Central New York: 50s/60
  • Northern New York: 50s/60
  • Southern Tier: Mid 50s

On Thursday, outside of a few midday sprinkles primarily north of the Thruway, we will see intervals of clouds and sunshine. It will be an unseasonably cool, but rather pleasant day.

Highs Thursday:

  • Central New York: 70 - 75
  • Northern New York: 70 - 75
  • Southern Tier: 70 - 75

A few more showers are likely on Friday, but still expect some dry weather to be in the mix. Highs will reach the mid-70s.

This weekend will begin dry with sun and clouds on Saturday. Highs will be within a few degrees of 70.

By Sunday, shower chances return once again as temperatures remain unseasonably cool.

On Labor Day, plan on a bit more wet weather, but drier conditions look to build in by Tuesday.  Temperatures look to warm back up to around 80 by that point as well.
