The Orange ranked No. 22 in the Associated Press preseason Top 25 poll presented by Regions Bank.
It is the first time SU has made the preseason top 25 poll since 1998 when they were No. 17.
Syracuse also ranked No. 22 in the USA Today preseason Top 25 poll earlier this month.
