With Syracuse's men's basketball team out of the NCAA tournament, there's word a star player for the Orange could be out as well.

Multiple reports cite sources close to guard Tyus Battle, claiming he will enter the NBA draft. Battle has been a top scorer for the Orange the past two seasons, and is 16th all-time in scoring at SU.

Battle had missed the previous two games due to injury before returning in the Orange's first-round loss to Baylor on Thursday night. He considered entering the draft last season, when he was projected as a late first-round or early second-round pick. Ultimately, though, he withdrew his name from draft consideration.

The Athletic currently projects Battle as a mid- to late-second round pick in the June draft.
