An Oswego County woman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty for her role in her son Jordan Brooks' death.
The Oswego County senior district attorney said Thursday that Lisa Waldron was sentenced to five years for assault and five to 15 years for manslaughter, which will run concurrently.
Brooks, who had cerebral palsy, died in May 2021.
Investigators say he was found malnourished and neglected.
Waldron's husband, Anthony, still awaits trail with regard to his step-son's death.
Authorities think Lisa Waldron's sentence will run concurrently with her two-year federal sentence for pleading guilty to stealing disability benefits meant for her dead son.
