Yet another issue has come to light in the close congressional race between incumbent Democrat Anthony Brindisi and his Republican challenger Claudia Tenney.

The Chenango County Board of Elections said Tuesday they discovered 55 early votes which were not counted.

That's according to the county's Democratic Party commissioner.

She said a county attorney has notified a state Supreme Court judge, but there's no word on what happens next.

Out of those 55 votes, only 44 are countable because the other 11 voters were not registered.

Results have yet to be certified in the 22nd Congressional District because both campaigns are challenging the count, but Tenney's campaign claims to hold the lead by just over a dozen votes.
