Destiny USA closed its doors and shoppers evacuated Friday afternoon following a police report of a "shots fired incident."
The incident occurred inside the Syracuse mall, near Cinnabon, according to a Syracuse Police Department tweet at around 4:30 p.m. Friday.
There were no known injuries, and the suspect had fled the mall, police said.
Police issued a shelter-in-place order before lifting it minutes later. The mall will be closed Friday night, police said.
