The Baldwinsville Board of Education voted unanimously Monday night to approve the resignation of Superintendent Jason Thomson.
Thomson will remain on paid administrative leave until his resignation becomes effective on June 30.
The board voted at the same meeting to appoint Kathleen Davis as interim superintendent, effective Feb 1.
Thomson was placed on administrative leave by the board after he was pulled over for drunk driving following a Baldwinsville High School football game back in October.
After originally pleading not guilty to a DWI charge in court, Thomson pled guilty to a lesser DWAI charge in December, which resulted in a $500 fine and 90-day license suspension.
On Tuesday of this past week, the school announced that Davis will take over as acting superintendent for the district.
