Al Roker is coming back to his alma mater at SUNY Oswego — this time as a teacher.
"Well I'm going to be teaching a class at my alma mater, SUNY Oswego. It's going to be called "Camera Ready: Developing Your On-Air Persona,” Roker announced Thursday on NBC’s Today.
In helping to train the next generation of reporters, Roker will be teaming up with other professors, including Spectrum News’ own Vanessa Richards, who is an adjunct professor at Oswego and alumna herself.
The class will be focused on teaching students the methods of storytelling, branding and presentation. It will be available this fall.
Roker graduated from SUNY Oswego in 1976.
