Another person involved in the Chili's double homicide in DeWitt last fall is headed to prison.

Jerome Pinkard was sentenced Wednesday to 2 to 4 years in prison.

Pinkard admitted giving a gun to his aunt, which prosecutors say was eventually used by William Wood Jr. in the shooting deaths of his former co-workers Kristopher Hicks and Stephen Gudknecht during a robbery at the Erie Blvd. Restaurant back in September.

Wood robbed and shot two former co-workers, before the gun jammed on him. In April, he was sentenced to life in prison without parole, and federal prosecutors have opened a death penalty case against him.

Three other people have also been convicted in the case.
