Hailing from Guilderland, New York, Town Supervisor Peter Barber was inspired to run for office because he wanted to develop great programs in the town where he grew up. One thing he wishes people knew about his job is the wide breadth of the government's responsibility to improve the quality of life for local residents.

Barber would say the hardest part of his job was implementing an ambulance service right before the COVID-19 pandemic started--and now, one thing his feels the town does better than anywhere else is provide Emergency Medical Services.

One of Barber's hidden talents in cooking. If he could visit any place in the world, he would go to Vietnam.
