Patrick Madden is the Mayor of Troy, New York. He got involved in his community after following the example set by his parents. After thirty years in the community development field building affordable housing, organizing, and advocating for lower-income neighborhoods, he decided to run for office. 

Madden's proudest accomplishment in office is the work that's been done it improve Troy's infrastructure. He believes his city does civic engagement and community work better than anywhere else in the state. 

Madden would take an out-of-town visitor to the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall.
