A round of widespread snow overnight turns to scattered snow showers Tuesday morning. A general 2-5 inches of accumulation is expected through Tuesday morning. Locally higher amounts of up to 6" are possible in the Tug Hill, Adirondacks and far North Country.
Snow showers and flurries will gradually taper Tuesday with with plenty of clouds and highs in the 30s for most.
