1. Officials warning of text scam regarding New York primary election polling sites

Dustin Czarny, an elections commissioner with the Onondaga County Board of Elections, posted on social media Monday morning that he'd received a number of reports of wrong polling locations being texted to voters. Czarny said he's informed both the New York state Board of Elections and Attorney General Letitia James' office of the texts.

2. Just over 100,000 voted early in New York 2024 primary elections

Roughly 100,000 took part in early voting for this year's federal and state primary elections in New York, according to state Board of Elections numbers. Between June 15 and June 23, 102,883 residents voted early.

3. Binghamton, Broome Co. officials call for approval of funding for cameras

In a statement, Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham, Broome County Sheriff Fred Akshar, Broome County District Attorney F. Paul Battisti and various Binghamton police officers called for a vote by council members to approve $66,000 in funding to the Binghamton police for "the installation of cameras in high-crime areas of the city."
