The concert of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band that was scheduled for September in Syracuse has been rescheduled for April 18, Live Nation announced Friday.

"The Boss" was supposed to perform last month at the JMA Wireless Dome but was canceled days before due to the rocker's treatment for peptic ulcer disease.

That prompted postponement of Springsteen's performances for the remainder of the year.

Tickets purchased through official channels for the Sept. 7 show will be honored for the April performance. A new sale date will be announced in the next few weeks.

Springsteen and the E Street Band were also scheduled to perform Sept. 19 at the MVP Arena in Albany. A new date for that concert has yet to be announced.
