Tonight across the Capital Region, expect increasing cloud cover ahead of an approaching cold front.  A few showers are also possible late tonight into early Tuesday morning.  Expect lows to be in the 30s to around 40 overnight.

On Tuesday, any lingering showers or sprinkles will diminish during the morning leaving us with some sunshine for the afternoon.  Temperatures will be mild, in the 40s to around 50.

Wednesday will start dry, but a wintry mix will develop during the afternoon which could cause some slick travel.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the 30s.

Some wintry mix will linger into early Thursday before the precipitation type becomes primarily rain during the day.  Highs will rebound back into the 40s.

More rain is expected on Friday as highs get into the 40s once again, but another push of much colder air will cause temperatures to tumble headed into the weekend.  Highs on Saturday will only be in the mid-20s, nevertheless with a good deal of blue sky and sunshine.

Temperatures should recover into the 30s as we finish the weekend and begin next week.
