Heavy rain and thunderstorms from the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby will continue to impact many of you this evening, especially across Central and Eastern New York. Expect to see potential flooding in flood prone areas and on area creeks and streams.

  • Remnants of Debby are moving through New York state now

  • Areas across the state could several inches of rain by the end of the day Friday

  • Flooding is likely, especially in poor drainage areas and on creeks and streams

  • Any impacts will be over by Saturday morning

The good news is the rain has mostly ended in Buffalo and Rochester, but is continuing for Central New York and the Capital Region.

 

Regardless of where you are, any impacts from Debby will be over with by the time you wake up Saturday. But leading up to then, the day will be an active one.
