SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Former Shen star and rising UNC Sophomore Jill Shippee advanced to the Hammer throw final at the World U20 Championships.

Now the original qualifications were set at 62 meters or the top 12 finishers.  Shippee had a first-round throw of 58.34 meters which had her in 13th.  After a protest regarding another athlete it was ruled that Shippee would advance.

She'll get to represent the USA again in the finals of the World Junior Championships in Finland on Saturday.
