Spencer Conlin joined the Spectrum News 1 team in December 2019.

Conlin is continuously inspired by the different people he has had the opportunity to meet on a daily basis. Everyone has a story worthy of being told.

One of his most moving pieces was a story about a shortage of Meals on Wheels drivers. As he was gathering the story, he met a father-son team who had been delivering meals three to five days a week. The duo volunteered to honor the memory of their wife and mother, who had delivered Meals on Wheels for more than 20 years. Watching their interactions with one another and the people they delivered meals to very special.

Conlin loves his favorite restaurant Bombers and his traveling cat named Walter.

Conlins most Albany moment are when he corrects people who say “AL-bany” instead of “ALL-bany”.
