Since former President Trump’s guilty verdict, Republicans from all over the political spectrum are bashing Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s decision to prosecute him.

U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan, a Trump supporting Republican from Ohio, has asked Bragg to testify about the prosecution. Moderate Republican U.S. Sen. Mitt Romney, of Utah, said Bragg committed "political malpractice" in his choice to pursue charges against the former president.

Online, some Trump supporters have called for the hanging of Judge Merchan.

Adrienne Koch, president of the New York County Lawyers Association, and partner in the law firm Katsky Korins in Manhattan, argues that these attacks are doing grave damage to the public’s confidence in the rule of law. Koch spoke with Capital Tonight host Susan Arbetter about the issue.
