Corey James joined the Spectrum News 1 family in Albany in July 2022. A Hudson Valley native, Corey is excited to bring his talents to his home state and make a lasting impact alongside the team.

Corey attended SUNY Cortland, where he earned his bachelor’s in communications and africana studies in 2013. He then went on to produce and report at Entercom Radio 92.9 The Game, a local CBS sports radio show in Atlanta, Ga.

Prior to joining Spectrum News, Corey served as a cross-platform production assistant at CNN’s world headquarters in Atlanta.
