It's been almost a year since pandemic shutdowns began in New York. Since then, life with COVID-19 has taken a toll on mental health.

It's a problem that's become especially troubling for kids who have been removed from their social circle and daily school lives. That's why Rich Johns, a former coach, created "The Visible Project," an initiative to help students be seen and connect.

Johns joined Spectrum News Anchor Dan Bazile to talk about the project and what students and their parents can do to help their mental health.
