After a cloudy and rainy Wednesday, temperatures have remained on the cool side for most of Texas. Another cold front will slide south across the state on Thursday, bringing an end to the rain but also reinforcing the cool temperatures.
Look for morning lows in the 50s for most places. Patchy fog is a possibility in the morning hours. Northeast winds will follow the next cold front, working southward through the afternoon.
Chilly winds of 20-30 mph will be common, but skies should slowly clear. Highs will reach the middle 50s and low 60s.
Friday looks to be a mostly sunny but cool day. Rain chances return for the weekend.
