A new sensory center for kids opened in Colonie this weekend.

Bizzy Beez Sensory Adventure provides a safe environment for kids— including those with sensory challenges— to play. The gym also offers licensed therapists that provide care. The main room hosts fun activities for the children and there's also the serenity room where they can relax in a calm environment. Workshops and after school enrichment programs are planned.

"It's just a great place for kids to be themselves, and relax, and not feel the pressures of the day-to-day world," said owner Sheri Canfield. 

Bizzy Beez is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
