Sentencing hearings for Cult leader Keith Raniere, and high ranking members Allison Mack, and Lauren Salzman are delayed to allow the probation department more time to prepare pre-sentencing reports.
The founder of the alleged cult group NXIVM was convicted last month of a number of charges including sex trafficking and forced labor. His sentencing was originally scheduled for September 25.
Mack and Salzman pleaded guilty earlier this year to racketeering conspiracy and racketeering. They were scheduled for a sentencing hearing on September 11.
Raniere, the founder and only member to stand trial, was convicted after weeks of testimony as witness after witness detailed his manipulation and coercion of women into becoming his sex slaves. Prosecutors introduced evidence showing how those women were branded with Raniere's initials and pressured not to betray the cult-like group.
The judge in the case has not outlined a new sentencing schedule.
