Saratoga Springs Mayor Meg Kelly announces she is running for re-election. Kelly is seeking a second term in the Spa City.

She was first elected in 2017 after serving as the Deputy Mayor under Joanne Yepsen.

In her state of the city address, Kelly said she is working on making Saratoga Springs a greener city, and continuing investment in infrastructure.

A big issue Kelly has been dealing with in her first term is damage to city hall. The building was struck by lightning back in August, causing $11 million in damage.

Operations have since been moved to city's recreation center.
