A Schenectady man is facing charges after authorities say he hit an Albany County Sheriff's Office car while driving drunk.

The sheriff's office says they were looking for someone who was wanted on an Albany County family court warrant in Schenectady on Friday.  While the sheriff's deputies were traveling on State Street near Brandywine Avenue, their car was hit by 25 year old Rahmel Dobbs.

Police said Dobbs was intoxicated, and driving with a suspended license.

He's also facing DWI charges.

The sheriff's deputies in the car were not injured and the car sustained minor damage.
