Police have arrested the man wanted for a deadly hit-and-run in Brooklyn on New Year's Day.
Ted Jerome, 23, is charged with leaving an accident that resulted in a death, and for driving with a suspended license.
Investigators say he struck and killed a 53-year-old man with his car as the victim crossed Conduit Boulevard near Pine Street in East New York around 5 a.m. Sunday.
The car then hit a guardrail, and police say Jerome ran away on foot.
