KINDERHOOK, N.Y. -- Officials have released the name of the 13-year-old killed in a car crash in Kinderhook Thursday night.
Dawson Stallman was in the back seat in one of the cars. He died at the scene.
Stallman was a student in the Taconic Hills School district.
State police say the crashed happened when two vehicles collided as one turned in front of the other at the intersection of County Route 28 and State Route 9.
Troopers say there's no indication that either driver was impaired by drugs or alcohol.
Passengers in both vehicles were sent to Albany Med for their injuries.
State police are now working to determine if passengers in both vehicles were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
