Following a $1.5 million renovation project, Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs will once again host performances in its original space Friday night.

The performance room has been expanded from 80 to 100 seats. A new sound system has also been installed.

Caffe Lena opened in 1960 and is the oldest continuously operating coffeehouse in the nation.

It has hosted many of folk music's biggest names, including Bob Dylan, Arlo Guthrie and Don McLean.
