Craig Apple, the Albany county sheriff warns drivers of potential violations for not following bus signals.
"They're traveling with our most precious cargo on these big yellow buses. Please slow down give yourself more time. It's a five point violation, it's a five hundred dollar fine the first time around. It's gonna hurt you and you're going to hurt some child out there if you do it," said Apple.
Drivers are urged to look out for flashing red lights, school zones, and proper speed signage.
