HARTFORD, N.Y. -- A Sergeant with the Washington Count Sheriff's department has indentified the victims invovled in Thursday afternoon's crash involving a car and a tractor trailer.

47-year old Anne Marie Rajczewski was traveling eastbound on State Route 196 in Hartford when deputies say her car crossed into the westbound lane and was struck head on by tractor trailer.

Rajczewski was flown to Albany Med with serious face and chest injuries.

Investigators are not sure what caused her to veer into the other lane.

The 57-year old driver of the tractor trailer was sent to Glens Falls Hospital with back injuries.

That stretch of road was closed for several hours, as crews cleared the scene.

There was a substantial amount of debris, including the engine from the passenger vehicle and an axle from the tractor trailer.
