SARATOGA, N.Y. -- Two people are hospitalized after a house fire in Saratoga County.

The fire broke out around 4:30 Tuesday morning at 289 Hayes Road in the Town of Saratoga.

Two people inside the mobile home did make it out alive, but they are being treated at the hospital for serious burns.

According to the assistant fire chief, firefighters knew what to expect when they arrived because of the neighbor who called the fire in.

"One of the closest neighbors is actually a fireman. When he came in, he said It was fully-involved when he looked out his window," said Quaker Springs Assistant Fire Chief Sean Dooley.

Officials are working to find what caused a fire, but the two people in the home say they recently installed a pellet stove and believe it could have been what started the fire.
