Sarah Clark is the New York State Assemblymember for the 136th district, which encompasses Rochester, Brighton, and Irondequoit. Her favorite part of her job is solving problems by bringing people together to look at the big picture.

Clark considers her district highly involved and well-informed about political issues. Her biggest accomplishment in office was putting childcare legislation on the docket, which is important to her as a mother.

Clark would take an out-of-town visitor on a walk along the gorge leading up to Lake Ontario. If she were not in public service, she would lead a non-profit or have a dog park.
