This leap year, there is a new way you can spend the extra day. The Leap of Kindness Day Initiative in Saratoga County encourages people to spend the day doing good deeds.
“We decided to create leap of kindness day to bring our community together. To match non-profits with for-profits, to try to get things done that help the people in our community,” said Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce President Todd Shimkus.
Curtis Lumber joined the initiative by selling two-by-fours at a discount of $3. Each one purchased goes towards the construction of a Habitat for Humanity home.
You can buy a two-buy-four to go towards the Habitat for Humanity house at any Curtis Lumber in the Capital Region.
